Bala is a wonderful place to visit.
What ever the weather there is always lots to do, for people of all ages and interests.
You can go walking, along quiet flat leafy lanes, peaceful forest tracks or climb a mountain crag, hire a bike, sail a dinghy, windsurf, or paddle your own canoe. There is white water rafting, kayaking, quad bike driving, paint balling,and 4x4 driving all within easy reach.
Then there are sheep dog trials, local shows and county shows.
You could ride the Narrow Gauge Railway, or take tea in one of the many cafe’s and hotels in the town. Perhaps a quiet stroll by the lake, or join in a charity fund raising event and hike miles in the hills by joining in with the Bala Challenge.
